There are few places on Earth as beautiful as the Salish Sea, this is why I chose this location to scatter ashes. The Strait of Georgia, Puget Sound and the Strait of Juan de Fuca are together known as the Salish Sea, in recognition of the Coast Salish peoples who have lived in this region for over a thousand years.  The Strait of Georgia is a body of water connected to the Pacific Ocean by the Strait of Juan de Fuca which lies between Vancouver Island and the British Columbia mainland.
